Hello, I’m Jeri Blue. Welcome to my site.

I grew up in the West, in Utah. My formal academic studies ended with a Masters in Literature.  While working on my Masters, I taught college writing, and informally studied Freud, Otto Rank, D.W. Winnicott, Melanie Klein, and underwent my own psychoanalysis.

Some years later, not in a spirit of rejection, but of expansion, I walked out of the gate of Western concepts  and into a deep exploration of the philosophies and meditative practices of the East: Taoism, Zen, Vipassana, and other schools of Buddhism.

During this time, I took courses in painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography, and wrote a book of short stories.

Once my two sons were grown, I took off for fruitful periods of wandering, through Mexico, Paris, and Rome.

Ever richer in understanding, and ever moved by curiosity, I continue my explorations.

I learn from scientists, artists, historians, writers, philosophers, filmmakers, magicians, psychologists, neurologists, shamans, yogis, qi gong masters, actors, and subtle body healing methods such as therapeutic touch, cranial sacral therapy, aura work, and energy medicine.

As richly diverse as all these explorers were and are, as often distant from each other in time and space, I have discovered that they are all having the same conversation, what I call the conversation of Us.

And, like all of us, I am always learning from the process of living, whose mystery becomes deeper the more we know.
